TO RG.{Mr Rowledge} & HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} SECRET. R2/M3. 5. 24. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A . C. SERVO. 49910 When I asked you for RRM. with Des.60 I concluded that from your and Mr. Elliott's memo. there was no doubt that the RRM. scheme was the best and most likely to be the favourite. Your latest memo. indicates that - this may be doubtful, that we may adopt the direct foot pressure to all the 4 brakes as well as the servo to all 4 brakes, instead of the RRM. scheme of the foot pressure going to the rear brakes only. If this is so I think it as well to bring a car here fitted with this scheme, or one that can easily be modified in the garage here. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
