On PL.697 herewith we show the banjos deleted on the inlet pipe to the filter and ¼" size olive joints in their place. We have had two cases of the 3/16" pipe being fractured at the point where the pipe is soldered to the boss of the banjo. Undoubtedly due to the small pipe and weakened section being unable to resist the spanner load when tightening the central screw. The oil pressure gauge connection remains as before, this does not suffer any man handling since the union should be done up after the banjo is fixed. Jnr.{Charles L.
