GEAR & BRAKE LEVER POSITION ON 20.G.IV. X5120.

The gear lever and brake lever positions on 20.G.IV.
were made to N.sch.3328; we have not seen any instruction apply-
ing particularly to 20.G.IV. to alter the position from that
given on the above N.sch, consequently they were not altered;
this car was treated as a special body and details given on
N.sch.3328 were in consequence not departed from.

There have been so many recent alterations to gear
and brake lever positions that the question has become rather
muddled, and it is difficult to ensure that we have the last
alteration incorporated on our cars.
