Society of Automotive Engineers:

The enclosed Engineering Data Sheets Nos. 113, 114, 115, 116, 117 and 118 present further research and compilation on the subject of plain bearings.

The unanimous appreciation and commendation by the Engineering Fraternities and Technical Institutions as well, not only of the subject matter, but of our purpose in compiling heretofore inaccessible information and data on plain bearings offers ample and gratifying justification of our efforts in this direction.

Suggestions, comments and criticisms on the enclosed, as well as future data sheets, will be most gratefully received, both in fact and in the spirit of cooperation in which they may be offered.

Very truly yours,

Engineering Department
American Bronze Corporation.
