For the attention of Mr.Robotham. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby. Dear Sirs, We beg to thank you for your letters of the 22nd, 24th and 25th inst., and note the particulars given therein. If convenient to yourselves, we should be much obliged if you would let our draughtsman, Lingwood, come up to you on Monday morning next, to take particulars of the calibration of the tank to drawing F.55744, which you say in your letter of the 25th is now ready for us to calibrate. We did take a record of the mask markings for Mr.Royce's car, but this was only on the gauge itself. It is our usual procedure to take calibration heights of petrol in the tank, and from this to work out our mask | ||
