X4117. E/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to Mr. Cox. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Mr. GR.{George Ratcliffe} RC.{R. Childs} PN.{Mr Northey}27/RT24.10.33. GYZ-40. GYZ-31. There are complaints about the high speed performance of these cars being poor, and in respect of GYZ-40 that the over-run between 35 and 45 is bad. Unfortunately the car's engagements prevent anything being done here in the immediate future, but after a run with a certain Capt. Clark on Thursday afternoon, GYZ-40 will be driven straight up to W. where it will be available all Friday morning. Its first performance is with a Journalist (Mr. Gibson Martin) at 2 o'clock at the Works. Will you therefore please take advantage of the car being available during that morning to establish figures as to its performance, and also report on the degree to which the over-run referred to can be cured, and the steps necessary to be taken for that purpose.
