As you are aware, the Marston Type Matrix to blueprint E.83831 has been standardised for Continental Type Chassis. With regard to the standard chassis for 'R2' Series, the radiator released is the present standard matrix built up of round tubes with hexagon ends to blueprints E.82520 and E.82547. Please say whether it is purpose (handwritten, struck-through) your intention to standardise the Marston matrix for the standard chassis in place of the tube type. The first chassis in 'R2' Series is not due for road test until December 9th. There is a big saving here. Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
