INTEGRATING ACCELEROMETER

TYPE TF. {T. Fisher} 414

SPECIFICATION

RANGE: 0.25 g. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} to 5.0 g. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} i.e. 8-ft/sec/sec. to 160-ft/sec/sec.

SCALE: Linear clock type scale giving a total scale length of 22 ft.

ACCURACY: Experience shows that provided the input voltages are carefully maintained, readings may be repeated closer than 2%.

MAXIMUM SPEED OF OPERATION: 50 c.p.s. i.e. The instrument will record any accelerations in its range, of 20 milliseconds or longer duration.

DISCRIMINATION: A normal test run can be recorded to one part in 1000.

POWER SUPPLY: 12 volts, 9 amps.

MOUNTING: All controls and meters are conveniently disposed on a horizontal panel which is mounted in a welded steel case fitted with a removable lid. {A. J. Lidsey} The accelerometer unit is normally recessed into the side of the case.

FINISH: Panel: Black crackle lacquer. Case: Grey cellulose enamel.

DIMENSIONS: 13" x 9 1/2" x 14 1/4". 18 1/2" x 15" x 20" approx. packed.

WEIGHT: Complete Unit less generator 30 lbs. Accelerometer Unit - 4 3/4 lbs. Complete Unit - 64 lbs. approx. packed.
