X601 The Lodge Sparking Plug Company Limited. Rugby. Telegrams: 'Lodge Rugby' Telephone: Rugby 235. UNDER GOVERNMENT CONTROL. YOUR REF OUR REF BH/EW. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, D E R B Y. Date 13th August 1919. For the Attention of Mr. Hives. Dear Sir, In reference to our telephonic conversation to-day, we understand that the Model MB. Plugs which we sent you on June 25th last are still under test. We shall be very glad to receive your report on the behaviour of these plugs at your early convenience. We understand that you do not like the special Weatherproof Insulated Terminals which are fitted to these plugs because these terminals will not fit plugs of other makes. We think you will agree, however, that this terminal provides a very neat and effective arrangement, and should it be necessary to fit a plug of another make the wire can be taken out of our terminal and fitted on to any other plug in the usual manner. We can also supply these special terminals printed with your name and with the cylinder number, which is convenient in placing the terminals on the plugs. If on the other hand you decide against using these P.T.O. | ||
