Dear Mr. Skinner,

Large Capacity Pump.

With reference to the above, the patterns for which I left with you on my last visit.

It is very probable that in the near future you will be called upon to supply approximately 20 of these pumps complete and to save a rush at your end I think it advisable that you have 2 dozen castings made and machined in readiness.

If you have not already done so, will you please advise our D.O. of the slight modifications you make to the casting, such as the enlarging of the by-pass and elimination of the valve cage washer. This will enable them to bring our drawings into line with yours.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
