To ensure that the utmost secrecy is maintained, I propose to forward this memorandum to the officials concerned every fortnight, as one knows from experience that we are all apt gradually to overlook such items unless we are reminded of their importance.

1. Is everything possible being done to maintain secrecy in regard to the "SS{S. Smith}" chassis, and to impress on those who are likely to be in contact with it that it is only a super-sports model?

2. Is all correspondence concerning the "SS{S. Smith}" marked "Secret" and sent in an envelope marked "Secret"?

3. Have you any suggestions which would increase the safety of the secret being maintained in any way whatever?

4. Are the chassis and parts being made and kept in the Holy of Holies?

BJ.
