X.3806 X.8430 Herewith we send N.sch.2473 shewing a proposed revision to the pipe on the steering pendulum lever. We have an impression that the arrangement shewn on N.sch.2445 is rather difficult to make a production job, and suggest that that shewn on N.sch.2473 will be easier, in addition to which Mr. Bijur at our interview on Wed. expressed the view that in this case a larger pipe would give better results, so that we have increased it to ¼" O.D. We are not certain of the necessity of this latter point, and if the lever w and pipe to N.sch.2445 are already made we suggest that it would be used for the experiment.
