The main object of these tests was to enable us to interpret our windage figures correctly, and also to find out whether it was worth forcing the tyre manufacturers to do experiments on tyre losses. The results are of great interest and will enable us to shame Dunlops into activity. We shall not do any more extensive tyre tests as we must now concentrate on our own job.
