Dear Sir,

We thank you for your letter of September 28th, as far as we know at present it will be convenient for you to visit us on Thursday October 18th to discuss the noise made by your new "Colonial" type tyre.
These tyres were so noisy that we have taken them off the car and therefore there will be sufficient tread left to demonstrate the noise. In view of this fact you may not wish to send four new tyres.

We shall be pleased to see Mr.Thorne if he would like to see the test.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
