Dear Sirs,
With reference to your call here on Monday last and our promise to send you a few small Banjo Unions chromium plated for the Float Lids, we regret we are not in a position to send them today, and owing to the intervening holiday we shall not have them ready before Wednesday or Thursday, but you may rest assured that we shall do everything possible to get them off as soon as possible.
With apologies for the delay.
