Date 31.5.26 Description of Parts: Moulded Redmanol Case for Ignition Coil. X No. 4079 Drawing No. 12 Part List X XI Origin: Reduction in cost of manufacture and improvement in appearance of coil. Experimental Test Report. See EFC1/T4.10.24, EFC3/T 4.5.24, EFC2/T23.9.25, EFC2/T4.3.26. In addition to which a finer primary winding coil in Redmanol case has recently completed a 10,000 miles test on chassis 10-G-111 with entirely satisfactory results. In all this coil has done 14,000 miles. A further Redmanol encased coil(with std. winding) not explicitly mentioned in our previous reports has now completed Road Test Report. - 23,200 miles satisfactory. The moulding plant at the Works has ample capacity to produce these coil cars. It is proposed to make a simple production to ensure that the quality of Redmanol material... Weight of Old Part.
