x 1042 W/N - Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/KW.3.4.36. One of our experimental cars, which is really a standard 20/25 fitted with a Stromberg carburetter, has got landed with a burnt out clutch at the South Hants Motor Engineering Works, Chandler's Ford, Hants. The official who was driving the car knows very little about it, and it is probable that if the clutch pedal is set down from the boards, the car will be driveable and that you will be able to get it as far as Cricklewood. Alternatively, it may be necessary to re-line the clutch to get it back. We should be very much indebted to you if you could arrange to collect the car and get it to Cricklewood, and if you will let us know when it is in running condition we will call for it. Please book the work carried out to Order No. 54305. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
