X5370 BJ. c. Wer. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY16/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 20.12.26. SERVO JAGGERS. 20 HP. -------------------- We have just standardized a scheme for introducing flexibility into the 20 HP. chassis servo, with the object of cutting out the complaint that occasionally arises that the servo jaggers. If the servo does jagger, it is unquestionably a danger, as if the brake is pushed on the jagger may be so bad that it is almost impossible to hold the brake on effectually. From conversation with the Departments concerned it would appear that at the moment jaggering is not and has not been a general complaint, and therefore it would appear only necessary to add the spring device where complaint arises in regard to jaggers. The cost of it would be £1. 9. 6d. per chassis. This figure covers supplying and fitting, providing the work is done at Derby or Cricklewood. I would suggest that a card is produced to be used in case of complaint. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [STAMPED TEXT: RECEIVED 20 DEC 1926] | ||
