x500a GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/1/JAB.16.8.35 WITH REGARD TO 21. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} IV. CHANGE SPEED LEVER STICKING. The fault is due to design and being fitted up too tight. The ball race had seized on the shaft. The balls had cut grooves in the shaft for the length they had to slide.
