Dear Sir,

I have to report a slight accident to 15EX car. The damage being N/S side lamp & a dented front wing due to a collision with a cart carrying wood. I was driving the car from Le Canadèl to-wards Frejus following Mr Northey in another car. The road is narrow & the weather conditions were bad at the time. I was following closely, another car between Mr Northey & myself passing several of these carts coming in the opposite direction. When I approach the last of them the horse pulled out sharply a distance of about 18". I immediately pulled up, my speed at the time was not more than 10 to 12 miles per. Unfortunately the driver of the horse could not stop the cart with heavy load on a wet surface coming down hill. At the moment of impact the car was stationary & as far as possible on the correct side. The incident has not interfered in any way the running of the car, & hope to make a repair before returning.

Yours faithfully
E Butler.
