Messrs. Lodge Plugs, Ltd.,
Rugby.

Dear Sirs,

We beg to refer you to your letter of the 2nd ultimo under cover of which you sent to us for test twelve Lodge type A5B sparking plugs. We have now tested these plugs on our Production test engines for 68 hrs. running and regret to say that several of these plugs have failed.

We would suggest that one of your representatives visit these Works in the near future for the purpose of examining these plugs. At the same time we have two Bentley sparking plugs we would like to show you which have also failed on test.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
