46th. Meeting Dec 8. 11 Mr. Platford suggested that he was extremely handicapped with the small number of experimental cars which he had at his disposal, the number being three, and he considered that six were the minimum for experiments to be efficient and at the same time not too lengthy a process. He suggested that a small number of sets of parts for the various experiments should be allowed to be put through on standard cars and tested in this way during the ordinary standard tests, such sets, of course, to be removed and replaced by the standard parts before delivery. Mr. Johnson said "I agree to 6 experimental cars. Consult "Sales" with reference to this." X180 | ||
