Exide Batteries
-----------------

As you are aware, Holgate examines in conjunction with Chlorides all batteries sent in for repair. He reports that he has noticed recently the negative plates in some of the batteries in a very hard and gritty state, one in particular 19 - TW. Hunt is a particularly bad example.

I am writing to you on this matter as possibly you may like to take it up with the Electrical Dept.
