To R C. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/KT.27.5.33. J.III. CAR. Now that we have put away the Peregrine we want to run the revived J.III. The three outstanding items which are nearly completed, we should like to get on the car are :- (1) New front axle with increased transverse king pin lean, and improved oil retaining flange at the bottom of the pivots. N.Sch.3704. (2) Borg & Beck type clutch. N.Sch.3504/10/13/24. (3) Modifications to the silent tappets which you have at present in hand. Lec.3514/40/42. Will you please urge these parts. You also have a second turbulent head being made instructed in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/KT.19.5.33. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1023. This will enable both our engines to be fitted with silent tappets and correct cylinder head. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
