Dear Sirs,

With reference to the occasional trouble you have been experiencing with pressure in the float chamber causing a jet of petrol to squirt through the top breather slots and on to the engine, we would suggest using a brass cowl, as enclosed sample, which should deflect the stream of petrol downwards on to the top of the float lid.{A.
