Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid{A. J. Lidsey}10/KT15-3-33.

Before it arrived the Writer had occasion to visit Park Ward's Works and took that opportunity of raising the question of whether their invoices for work carried out at Derby included the cost of the rectification of any defects.

Park Wards disclosed their actual costs and were able to prove that when invoicing us they had made an allowance for work which consisted of putting right defects for which in the ordinary way they would be responsible.

We told them that we appreciated this action, although it is only what we expected.

We agree that Park Wards have shewn themselves most anxious to do all they can to reduce to the minimum any inconvenience you might suffer through it being necessary to modify the bodies and so forth but, after all, this is part of their policy to remain on good terms with their best customers.
