Insulation Test of Starter Solenoid Coils.

The results of the insulation test on six of the above coils, are as below.
In each case the test finally consisted of 100 volts being applied between the winding and the metal bobbin through the Weston Galvanometer.

Coil | Insulation Resistance.
No 1.. | 964,000 ω.
" 2.. | Infinity.
" 3.. | "
" 4.. | 503,000.ω.
" 5.. | Infinity.
" 6.. | "

Coil number 6 is the one that was rebaked in the shop.
