Generator (continued).

The generator can be provided with a pulley 7 (fig. 2), for driving, and a special coupling piece enables it to be interchanged to suit either a flexible shaft or a gear drive as required. The case of the generator is chromium plated and completely dustproof; the ball bearings are of superior quality, packed with grease, and will run for long periods without attention.

Fig. 4. โ€” Sector pattern indicator, 9-in. or 12-in. dial.

Compact and robust construction guarantees faultless operation and long life with continuous running under exacting conditions.

Indicator.

The indicator can be either of the small rectangular pattern, with 2½-in. or 3-in. dial (fig. 3), or of the sector pattern with 9-in. or 12-in. dial (fig. 4); in the latter case the dial can be illuminated from the back if required. Dials can be calibrated in any special units desired, such as miles per hour, feet per second, gallons per minute, etc.
