Generator (continued). The generator can be provided with a pulley 7 (fig. 2), for driving, and a special coupling piece enables it to be interchanged to suit either a flexible shaft or a gear drive as required. The case of the generator is chromium plated and completely dustproof; the ball bearings are of superior quality, packed with grease, and will run for long periods without attention. Fig. 3. โ Rectangular pattern indicator, 2½-in. or 3-in. dial. Fig. 4. โ Sector pattern indicator, 9-in. or 12-in. dial. Compact and robust construction guarantees faultless operation and long life with continuous running under exacting conditions. Indicator. The indicator can be either of the small rectangular pattern, with 2½-in. or 3-in. dial (fig. 3), or of the sector pattern with 9-in. or 12-in. dial (fig. 4); in the latter case the dial can be illuminated from the back if required.
