Messrs. Jonas Woodhead & Sons Ltd.,
Kirkstall Road,
LEEDS, 4.

Your ref. THS/HP/ESS.

Dear Sirs,

In your letter dated 11th August 1941, you kindly agreed to make a pair of lubricated springs less the master leaves to our drawing Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}729.

We find that the leaf thickness of the springs which you have supplied is .156" ± .008, whereas our drawing called for a leaf thickness of .125".

We are returning these springs to you and we hope that you will soon supply springs having the correct leaf thickness.

Yours faithfully,
