Phantom II. Exhaust Cutout Better Fitting Valve.

In dealing with complete finished cars, one of the worst troubles we have is the vibrations and booms under high engine speed conditions, which we find is definitely aggravated by exhaust leakage past the cutout valve.

We have found that although every attention is given to this valve being correctly adjusted to avoid leaks, they do not remain "put".

The necessity of this being a definitely shut off valve when not required is an important feature, and we suggest some consideration be given for an improvement to be made for the fitting of this valve, or a new type valve to be used which would not be so sensitive to this trouble.
