Burt - Engineer} 18th February, 1941. W.A. Robotham, Esq., Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Robotham, Thank you for giving me all the dope you did about the Bentley Mark V.{VIENNA} I hope you considered the description in "The Motor" of January 29 reasonably intelligent. You may remember suggesting that it might be possible for me to have another go on the grey car to satisfy myself that its running on the previous test was rather below par. Obviously for personal as well as technical reasons I should very much like to do this. From my point of view an ideal opportunity is March 8-9 when I have to take a journey to Cambridge, over some first-class undulating roads from the overdrive point of view, so I wonder if you could say whether this would be convenient or practical from your angle and let me know in due course. Sincerely yours, Laurence Pomeroy | ||
