We wish to bring to your notice the uncomfortable position of the pedals on the above car. For normal touring conditions when the foot rests on the accelerator pedal between half and full throttle the position of the foot is reasonably comfortable, but for town work with the pedal in the nearly closed position, ten minutes driving is sufficient to cause one's ankle to ache. The clutch pedal also appears to be too high, and one nearly fouls the steering wheel when operating the clutch. Driving visibility could also be improved by slightly lowering the steering wheel. Actually this car is not comparable with 24.G.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} for visibility and pedal position. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} | ||
