We should like if possible to make use of the road to the skid pan for test conditions. There will very shortly be no tram setts in Derby. If we could have 300 yards of 5" setts near the Works, considerable time will be saved during tests on suspension noise. We should also like to have a hump back bridge at one end of the road, similar to the one we use near the Red Gate.
