Cox - Advertising Manager}9/KW.14.4.39., the following are our comments on the various points raised by Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}:- WRAITH PERFORMANCE. These mods cannot be adopted on 'C' Series as material has already been ordered. We hope that no more Wraiths will be made after 'C' Series. EXPERIMENTAL CARS. We have handed 24.G.VI over to Transport. B.V. Unsatisfactory starting. A scheme of automatic starting has been developed for the 25/30 engine unit, and will be available for Wraith replacement. B.50. 2-B-50 is available for Sales to try. CONTINENTAL BENTLEY. Until the experimental Continental Bentley has been on the road, it will not be possible to instruct a final specification for this car. There is no reason, however, why bodies should not be instructed as soon as the one at present being built by Van Vooren is approved. The standard frame can be used for finishing off the bodies as its external dimensions are similar to the lightened frames we are using for the Continental. GENERAL - Development of Interior Heating & Ventilation Various schemes are under development. REMOTE CONTROLS OF GEARBOX. 35-EX has been tried by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
