Replacing production drawings for various engine types and managing paper shortages.

| 1204 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Mtn.4/EH.14.6.40. We have started to replace the prints taken from the Bank, and propose to deal with the following:- Merlin II to XX. Production drawings and any new details. Vulture Production drawings and any new details. Peregrine Production drawings and any new details. Griffon Production drawings and any new details. EXE. Engine Production drawings and any new details. O.P. Lists and T & F.{Mr Friese} Drawings for the above where available. DES. Schemes from the original number agreed to. M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Schemes and details. Do you consider it necessary to send prints of new DES. and M.Schemes, also alterations to existing Production details and new details to Oy. and if not, will you please let me know what we are to send to Oy. in the future. Please let me have your decision as soon as possible to enable me to make the necessary arrangements, but I suggest we cut the number down to a minimum, because of the paper situation which is likely to become worse in the near future.
