6. B. IV.

We have received your telegram:-

"RECOMMEND RUNNING WITH 40 LBS OIL PRESSURE IN FUTURE TESTS ON 6.B.IV."

This is not very clear to us, as the oil pressure varies considerably with the speed of car.

We have however, increased the oil pressure to 40 lbs. at 3.000 revs. at an oil temperature of 90°c. This I presume will cover what you require. We make a point of noting and recording oil pressures, and if any drop in oil pressure occurs with increased oil temperature, we will attend to it.
