X 3796. FIXING FOR R-R MASCOT ON RADIATOR.

We have received a model of the proposed new fixing for the Mascot and think that the following points should be modified.

1. The base of the mascot should be machined so that it does not overhang the hexagon on the radiator cap.

2. We think there should be a distance piece so that it is not possible, in screwing up the lock nuts, to make the spring washer choc-a-bloc.
