To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Dynamos.

Referring to R3/M24.6.31 PN{Mr Northey} raises the question of the necessity for the expense involved in the suggestion in paragraph 3, especially in view of one of the last rather important tests carried out by EFC, in which the slot stages on experimental armatures were increased, thus giving more room for conductors and a higher saturation to the magnetic circuit, and in the same way as is promised in this par.

I do not think we have seen the full report on the final test made with this armature in question. We are hoping that we may have an opportunity of benefitting by it.

I should like to have your views on the point raised. PN{Mr Northey} is in full sympathy with the last paragraph which is a method of dealing with the dynamo output previously discussed from time to time.
