For the attention of Mr. Skinner.

Dear Sirs,

We have received the pair of stove enamelled carbs. and think these are a decided improvement upon anything you have sent along previously. As compared with other enamelled parts on our engine, however, they show up slightly rougher, and there are quite a lot of "bubbles" on them. We are, however, prepared to accept carburetters with this finish for the time being and hope that in the meantime you will endeavour to improve the finish still further.

There are two points that show up rather badly and which we should like you to alter, viz: the copper finished jaw on the bottom of the jet, and the "dirty grey" coloured nut fastening the float chamber to the carburetter body. Is there any reason why these should not be "dull nickel" finish? If not, we should be grateful if you would arrange for this to be done on all future carburetters.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
