Potential issues with cross tubes on the 1700, 1800, and 1900 series Colonial cars.

-2- The cars most likely to give trouble are those with the nearly straight cross tube. These were fitted I believe on the 1700 and 1800 series Colonial cars and made standard on the 1900 series.
