Dispatch of dummy sports chassis and body fittings, warning coachbuilders about a temporary sheetmetal dashboard.

X8830 We have now sent the body fittings to Messrs. Hoopers, and Barkers. We expect to send a set of these fittings to Jarvis at the end of this week. Regarding the first dummy chassis which has already been sent away, we were obliged to fit on there a sheetmetal dashboard because there was not a cast dashboard available. The sheet metal dash is right for dimensions and is in the right position but the coachbuilders should be warned that a cast dash will be fitted to the complete chassis in case any of his woodwork round the scuttle is likely to foul the features on the cast dash..
