Rear Shock Damper Mounting.

Maximum damping loads have increased to such an extent that in our opinion it is no longer satisfactory to rely on friction to hold dampers to the frame as very large bolts have to be used to get a sufficient margin of load.

For this reason we wish to try a modified attachment of the rear damper for the 20/25 as shown by M. {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} sch.4014 herewith.

The conical depressions in the plates give positive location without accurate hand fitting.

We should like the plates tried without any machining on the depressions to begin with at all events.
