To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X. 8080 R3/M28.1.27. RE. PHANTOM CARBURETTER. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Hancock writes of noise from the alteration to the throttle closed angle of 18°. We have not noticed it on our car, which seems OK. in every way at this point. Don't be tempted to return to a smaller angle which jams. If the noise does exist it must be got over by some other means. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
