HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

We understand you have carried out some work on the engine of this car which may have had the effect of increasing the horsepower according to the R.A.C.rating.

If such an alteration has been made The London County Council with whom the car is registered should be notified of the change and any increased duty necessary because of the greater horsepower will have to be paid.

Will you kindly advise us the position.
