Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 9th inst.

We are testing out your air filter on the HU5 S.U. carburetter and will let you know something further when we have completed our experiments. So far it has given us encouraging results.

We are anxious to obtain a similar type of filter to try on the 1¾" throttle diameter S.U. We attach a sketch of the size which we can conveniently fit to the carburetter and should be pleased if you would let us know whether you can make up anything that would suit our purpose and what the cost would be.

We thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
