The Servo Drive is similar in design to the Wraith 111 chassis (N.Sch.4922) the same distance pieces, washers and spring rings being used. A new set of speedo drive gears has been produced to suit the existing centres on the gear box GB.2863 having a ratio of 25 to 9 and giving a speedometer cable speed of 790 revs. per mile. A slot is to be filed in the gear box to allow oil to feed into a trough in the bearing and so lubricate the speedo drive shaft at the upper end. Required for 1st. car.
