22. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} V.{VIENNA} 25/30 H.P.

We regret to report that 22.G.V. has sustained damage to the Nearside Front Wing and spare wheel and bracket, as a result of a collision with a farm cart. The cart was practically undamaged and there was no personal injury. The horse was also unhurt.

The car was being driven by I. Weller with F.{Mr Friese} Walsh as passenger, along the Route Nationale from Vichy to Montluçon. The farm cart was driven at a trot from a farm track behind a wall on the left of the road, straight across the road into a track beside a field opposite. The brakes were applied and the car turned to the right with the cart.

The O.S.R. hub of the cart struck the spokes of the Nearside spare wheel.

The driver of the cart would not divulge his name and address.

The running of the car has not been affected in any way.
