| S/W. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} C to Bkl. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}2/KW30.6.36. Reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/KW26.6.36, I understand that on Monday morning Bkl sent up an operator specially to photo- graph 33-EX and any other P.III's that might be available, having regard to the contents of your memo above mentioned. I understand that on the operator's arrival no car was available and his time and the expense of the journey were wasted. Is it not possible to avoid these occurrences ? 33-EX drove Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and me to Nottingham on Wednesday last, and according to your memo we were led to imagine it would be available on the day the operator was coming and you were duly advised of his visit. Is it not possible, please, to keep a definite appointment with one or more of these cars, so that coloured photographs can be taken ? It is very important that we should secure these whilst the cars are in existence. It does not matter, of course, about their mechanical condition. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Luel | ||
