DESCRIPTION. -3- REMARKS. Wraith Type Starter Motor - Scheme not yet issued. Cost of Wraith Starter Motor complete is approx: same as Ph.III. Starter Motor. ? Modified Cross in Frame - Modified holes required to permit removal of Wraith type starter Motor. Makers tool cost probably in the region of £20.0.0d. WHAT ABOUT THIS CROSS Threaded Spring Shackles - FCD. 546 (Similar to 560)Wraith. New rear dumb iron and shackle forgings required. New road springs with larger rear edge. Chassis factory cost will be increased by screwed shackles no definite figure being available however. Tool cost in region of £100.0.0d. to £120.0.0d. Go AHEAD Hand Brake Shoes - Deleted complete. Rear Brakes considerably simplified by deletion of hand brake shoes. It is not possible to ascertain saving per chassis or tool cost until detail drawings are available. 4-Fingered Clutch - with increased inertia and flexible flywheel - replacing present 6-fingered clutch. More simple design than at present. Saving per Chassis cannot be determined until detail drawings available Probable tool cost £250.0.0d for new Dies, drill jigs, boring fixtures etc. | ||
