Regarding the switchbox and cutout, and distribution board, the English production should use those made for the Goshawk with such modifications as are found necessary for the 40/5P, to comply with the double ignition, etc. No more Lucas switchboxes should be purchased because I understand these are still giving dis-satisfaction through unreliability of the cutout. If necessary, you could use the same scheme as on the American production cars, i.e. Delco switch, until we could get RR ones made suitable. | ||
